Restylane is one of the best known of the dermal fillers. It is composed of Hyaluronic Acid which closely resembles the substance manufactured by the body to give shape and form. The product is available in different molecular size including Perlane, Sub Q Lipp and Vital all of which have different treatment indications. The effects are usually immediate and the product lasts for several months in most cases. Restylane is available in various syringe fills and is priced accordingly.

Sculptra composed of polylactic acid and is designed primarily for volume augmentation. Sulptra works by thickening the dermal layers. Sculptra works over a period of time and more than one treatment session may be required. Product can last for many months.
